Marine Main.png

The Marines (also referred to as the Frontiersman or the Trans-System Federation/TSF) are one of the two teams in Natural Selection 2. Represented by playable Human characters, they employ several tiers of devastating technology and weapons, from conventional Assault Rifles and Shotguns, to explosive Grenade Launchers and incendiary Flamethrowers in their mission to destroy the Alien team. The Marine team is the team most closely associated with that of a traditional First-Person Shooter role and therefore, is usually a better team to play during your first rounds of NS2.
